Email and Push Alerts

As many of you have noticed, the new system handles notifications differently than our previous system. Instead of emails, you will receive alerts (push alerts and/or alerts here on the site) for new topics, messages, and responses.

On this new system, you are not automatically subscribed to email alerts and must specifically opt in to receive emails. If you'd like to opt in for email alerts, please adjust your account preferences.




If you'd like to receive push alerts (recommended) you may also enable that option in your account preferences screen.

No problem, William. A push alert is a pop-up notification that appears on your screen instead of (or in addition to) an email alert.
